The Campus Community Campaign
The University of Chicago’s staff and faculty members form an unparalleled community. Through their effort and dedication, this diverse community drives the groundbreaking work of this institution, and has an impact that is felt beyond the confines of campus. Indeed, members of the campus community contribute their time and talents to improving the lives of countless people in our neighborhood, the city, and the world.
Since the inception of this University, faculty and staff members have played a vital role in supporting Chicago by making gifts during capital campaigns. These gifts have supported virtually every program at the University, from the creation of world-changing ideas to innovative teaching in local charter schools.
Recognizing the importance of employee giving, a dedicated group of staff and faculty is launching the Campus Community Campaign. The purpose of the campaign is:
- to encourage employees to participate by making a gift
- to educate community members about the importance of philanthropy
- to use faculty and staff gifts to strengthen areas of need throughout the University
Gifts of all sizes are welcome; there is no minimum required to participate. Even small gifts have the power to make a difference in all of the University’s endeavors.
